  • After your extensive training, your instructor will help you gear up with your own parachute. At 3,000 feet above the earth, your static line instructor will guide you out of the plane. You will be attached to the plane via a static line that will deploy your parachute for you. You’ll be wearing a radio and together with your training and someone talking to you via radio, you will land safely back at the dropzone.

The static line progression is perfect for someone who would like to make the jump alone, has time to invest in training and would like to make skydiving a life long hobby. Static line is the original, best known method of learning to skydive. A tether attached to the airplane automatically opens the parachute. Friday evening begins with classroom instruction. Saturday morning continues with the practical portion of your training. By noon you are ready to make your first jump!
